A French origin, a family know-how, an international development.
Founded in 1884 by a French immigrant, the Charles Jacquin company
and CIE are based in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, USA).
The complex making of liqueurs is a family heritage. The development of
alcoholic drinks for the market such as gin, vodka, whisky and an extensive
range of liqueurs takes place in the north-east of the United States.
In the 1970's, the company decided to extend its products.
The take-over of the Chambord (France) company, which produces
and markets liquor, permits the well running of this policy.
With the extension of alcoholic drinks on the market in process, the company
decided to diversify via the launching of food products.
Developed and produced by the Fruits d'Aquitaine-Optimal Food company
at Marmande, the marketing of the food range is managed by the Chambord
company.
